The Gratitude House is owned and operated by Realslow Recovery, LLC, a 501(c)3 non-profit with the mission to provide safe, affordable, and supportive housing for all people to live and grow in recovery from substance use disorder. We provide recovery housing for men in a caring, family-oriented environment located in beautiful downtown Easton and Cambridge, Maryland. All of our homes are M-CORR certified and accept MDRN funding.
The Gratitude House is for adults ages 18-64.
Residents must have a substance use disorder and have a desire to remain abstinent from all mood and mind altering substances.
Residents must no longer be in danger of going through withdrawal symptoms (preferably having completed treatment or detox).
Residents must agree to attending 12 step meetings, getting a sponsor, using the sponsor, and working the 12 steps.
Residents must be willing and able to hold a job for at least 30 hours per week.
Residents must submit to drug and alcohol testing at will.
Residents may not be on medications with potential for abuse.
No violent, sexual, or arson based felony convictions.
Residents must commit to identifying goals and working to achieve them.
Residents must want to live in a structured living environment where accountability between both managers and other house members is required.
