About Stella's House LLC Stella's House LLC is a sober living operator in Annapolis, Maryland, running peer-based recovery housing in Anne Arundel County. An Annapolis Sober Living Operator Stella's House LLC manages a single Annapolis property built around separate men's and women's sober living houses sharing one property. That model lets the operator serve both men and women in recovery from one address while keeping the day-to-day structure of each house single-gender. A Peer-Based Model for Recovery Housing The organization describes its work as providing a healthy, safe and substance-free living environment for people in recovery, built on peer accountability among residents living together. That distinguishes a sober living operator like Stella's House LLC from a licensed treatment provider: the housing supplies structure and a stable address, and residents typically bring their own outpatient treatment, sponsor and meetings to the arrangement. A Certified Maryland Recovery Residence Operator Stella's House LLC carries Maryland's recovery residence certification. The state's MCORR program, administered by the Behavioral Health Administration, lists the operator with five certified homes in Anne Arundel County. Maryland requires the credential only of residences that take state funds or hold themselves out as certified, so an operator that carries it has chosen the oversight. A certified operator has agreed to a written code of ethics, to disclosing fees and house rules before anyone moves in, and to an outside complaint process a resident can use. Serving Men and Women in Anne Arundel County Anne Arundel County anchors Stella's House LLC's work, and Annapolis in particular gives residents access to the county's courts, outpatient treatment network and a state capital's worth of civic infrastructure inside one city. A resident leaving treatment on the Eastern Shore or in Southern Maryland can reach Annapolis and stay within the same county for the rest of a recovery plan.

Severn Home Sober Living provides structured, gender-specific sober living environments for adults transitioning from residential addiction treatment. Stage One 30 days The first 30 days of residence are dedicated to developing a strong foundation and support group during the early recovery phases. Residents will need to attend four recovery meetings each week and attend all house activities. Residents must also work towards finding a sponsor in their preferred recovery fellowship. Stage Two 30-90 days After the first 30 days, certain restrictions are lifted. You can have one overnight pass every other week. You should have a sponsor and become more active in the recovery community by this point. At this point, if you do not already have a job, then actively searching for employment is next on the agenda. Stage Three 90-150 days Demonstrating that you are an active participant in your recovery and completing the first 90 days at Severn Home, fewer restrictions are put in place. You can have an overnight pass one day a week, the curfew is extended, and you no longer have to sign in and out when leaving the house. Stage Four 150-365 days In stage four, there is no longer a curfew or scheduled time to wake up. By this point, you must have a full-time job unless you are a student. Meeting requirements are lifted, and attending house activities are encouraged but no longer mandatory. Stage Five 365 days + Beyond First & foremost, congratulations on celebrating one year with Severn Home. This is genuinely a tremendous milestone in your recovery. Once you have completed the first 365 days, the rules and requirements, for the most part, are lifted. You have shown you can remain sober and are a trustworthy resident. From this point, the goal is to remain in the house as long as you can and continue to work your steps and lifestyle to maintain sobriety and happiness. We recommend a minimum length of a year's stay. We still highly encourage you to stay involved with house activities and meetings throughout your stay at the Severn Home.
